Elaine Keenan

Elaine Keenan is an experienced lawyer, having practiced for 15 years in the United Kingdom. She has a broad range of professional expertise, particularly in defending civil litigation claims and advising public and private sector clients. She has extensive courtroom experience and has been involved in tutoring other lawyers in advocacy skills. Elaine recently worked for a UK environmental law body and was named as one of the sector’s “most impactful” lawyers in this role.
Elaine was admitted to the California Bar in 2025. A native of Northern Ireland, she is also qualified as a lawyer in Northern Ireland and in England and Wales. She studied Law with French at Queens University, Belfast and Université des Sciences Sociales, Toulouse, France. She worked for the European Union in Brussels before commencing legal practice. Elaine also holds a Masters from Queen’s University, Belfast.
