Lisa A. Villasenor

Ms. Villasenor has over 37 years of litigation experience for both the defense and plaintiffs. She has handled both first party and third-party matters, including binding arbitration and jury trials. She has successfully represented and advised both plaintiffs and defendants in hundreds of lawsuits and disputes from inception to settlement, arbitration, mediation, MSC and trial. She has successfully argued many summary judgment motions.
Ms. Villasenor has over 20 years specializing in insurance defense litigation, including high exposure general liability, construction defect, premises liability, special investigation unit (SIU) cases, first party investigation; and has represented individuals, common carriers, private businesses and municipal transportation entities. Ms. Villasenor successfully conducted 12 trials throughout Northern and Southern California including the counties of San Mateo, San Rafael, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.
While in law school, Ms. Villasenor served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Raymond L. Acosta at the U.S. District Court in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
She enjoys golf, walking/hiking, skiing, beach time, concerts, wine tasting, spending time with her large family. She has been active in serving her Northern California community and has been a member of Queen’s Bench Bar Association in Northern California since 2011 where she has also served as a Director at Large on the board for over 7 years.
