Teenage defendant driving a one month-old Tesla ran a stop light T-boning plaintiff. Plaintiff’s vehicle was totaled and defendant’s vehicle had more than $7,500 in damages. Plaintiff, 70 years old, claimed multiple herniated discs, a full thickness rotator cuff tear. Plaintiff blackboarded $200,000 in medical bills and asked the jury for approximately $1,000,000. The jury awarded a verdict of $21,600.
