Jack Risenhoover

Attorney

Jack Risenhoover counsels passionate, creative entrepreneurs, from formation and capital raising through scaling and exit. A member of the California Bar Association since 1997, Jack focuses on corporate transactions, software licensing, securities and tax matters for start-ups.

Jack earned his juris doctorate at Vanderbilt University School of Law, a master of business administration from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor of science in Management from Pepperdine University. At Vanderbilt he was on the National Moot Court team, National Health Law Moot Court team, and served as the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board. Earlier, Jack competed nationally with the Pepperdine Debate team where he later returned as a visiting professor and lead the forensics program.

Jack began his career in financial services at Merrill Lynch. As an early member of the executive team for Eclipsys Corporation (ECLP), Jack served as Secretary to the Board and general counsel through the IPO and multiple acquisitions of public and private companies. He led the legal, human resources, and information systems teams before taking on operating responsibilities as the President of the Mid-America Region.

He has also founded and launched multiple healthcare technology ventures, ranging from robotic chemotherapy compounding to pharmacy workflow software, and a breakthrough 340B cashflow management platform.
