Marvin Amoroso

Marvin Amoroso is a partner in the firm’s Ontario office. He joined the firm in February 2019 and was elevated to partner in January 2020.

Mr. Amoroso’s legal career began over 25 years ago as a litigation paralegal for a nationwide defense law firm. He decided to further his career by going to law school while working full time. Mr. Amoroso was granted certified law student status by the California State Bar and pursuant to the State Bar’s PTLS (CRC Rule 9.42), he was authorized: to represent clients at public court hearings, argued dispositive motions before the court, engaged in the taking and defending depositions, attend mediations and arbitrations and participated in a number of public trials, including actual direct and cross-examination of witnesses, all while still in law school.

Mr. Amoroso has now been practicing law for over 19 years and he is an experienced trial attorney. Mr. Amoroso has successfully represented clients in trial, arbitration, MSC, and mediation. Mr. Amoroso has successfully argued many summary judgment motions, including a dismissal of a claim that had a 10 million dollar potential exposure against a small business owner with CGL coverage of only 1 million. Mr. Amoroso’s practice focuses on insurance litigation defense, which includes special investigation unit (SIU) cases, first party SIU investigation, high exposure general liability, premises liability, and product liability.
